Questions
How much does Mercari take from a sale?
A flat 10%. On a $100 sale you keep $90 before shipping.
Does Mercari still charge a payment processing fee?
Not to sellers for listings created or updated since January 6, 2025. Older listings that were never updated may still have it, so update them.
Is Mercari cheaper than eBay?
On fees, yes for most items: 10% against eBay's 13.6% plus $0.40. eBay may still get a higher price because it has more buyers.
