Questions

How much does GOAT take from a sale?

About 9.5% commission, a $5 seller fee and 2.9% when you cash out, roughly 14% on a $250 pair. You keep about $215 before shipping.

Why do I keep less on cheap pairs on GOAT?

The $5 seller fee is fixed, so it is a bigger share of a cheap sale. On a $50 item it alone is 10%.

Is GOAT or StockX better for selling sneakers?

At most prices StockX pays a little more after fees, but GOAT's buyers sometimes pay higher prices for some pairs. Compare the real sold prices on each sneaker's page and the payout in the calculator.

Check real prices before you list

Fees are half the story: the other half is what buyers actually pay. Our weekly price index shows real sold prices per platform for popular sneakers, consoles, collectibles and watches, and the Holiday Resale Report 2026 shows what this year's gifts sell for.
