Privacy Policy

The short version
- No accounts, no cookies, no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
- Email alerts are optional: we keep only your email address and the alerts you chose, send them through Brevo, and delete everything when you unsubscribe.
- We count page views with our own simple counter: it records only the page, the referring website's name and the date. No IP address, no identifiers, no profiles.
- Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own domain: your browser does not contact third-party trackers when you visit.
- The fee calculator and search run in your browser. What you type is not sent to us.
- Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address) to run and protect the site.
- If you email us, we use your email only to reply.
1. Who is responsible

2. Information we do not collect
We do not ask for, and the site has no way to submit, your name, account details or payment details. We do not set cookies, use advertising or third-party analytics services, build profiles, or sell or share personal information.
2a. Page-view counter
To know whether the site is useful, each page sends one small request to our own domain when it loads. It contains only the page address (for example /sneakers/) and the domain name of the website that linked you to it (for example reddit.com), never the full referring address. We store only daily totals: views per page, visits from other websites, and referring domain names. We do not store your IP address, browser details or any identifier, we cannot tell visitors apart, and the data is not shared with anyone. The counter does not run for automated browsers.
Opting out. To stop your own visits being counted, open any page with ?nocount=1 at the end of the address. This saves a small marker (ss_nocount) in your browser's local storage on your device only; it is never sent to us. Do it once in each browser you use. To be counted again, use ?nocount=0 or clear this site's data in your browser.
3. Technical data processed by our hosting provider
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. When your browser or software requests a page or file, Netlify's servers necessarily receive technical data such as your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. Netlify processes this data to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
4. Things that stay in your browser
The fee calculator and site search run entirely in your browser. Prices you type into the calculator and words you type into search are not sent to us.
5. Email alerts and the weekly email
If you sign up for a price alert or the weekly movers email, we store your email address, the items and prices you chose, whether you want the weekly email, and the dates you signed up and confirmed. We use this only to send those emails. Sign-up is double opt-in: nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link, and if you don't confirm within 7 days we delete the address. Emails are sent through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes the address only to deliver the email. Brevo routes the links in our emails through its own address and counts opens and clicks; we set this to anonymous mode, so these counts are not linked to you or your address, and we do not use them for anything. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes your address and alerts from our list. We never sell or share the list and never send ads. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
If you use "Request an item", we store only the text you typed and the page you were on.
5a. Writing to us
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to answer you and keep a record of the request (for example a correction or takedown request). We keep such emails only as long as needed for that purpose.
6. Links to other websites
Pages link to marketplaces and other websites. When you follow a link, that website's own privacy policy applies.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law or the EU/UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information about you, or to object to its use. Because we hold almost no personal information, the most relevant case is an email you sent us. Write to malek_oweis@yahoo.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows the current version. Use of the Service is also governed by our Terms of Use.
